I’ve Spent 20+ Years Helping Women—But I Didn’t Understand Midlife Until I Lived It.
Hi, I’m Miriam, founder of Nourish & Flow and a functional nutritionist with a B.S. and M.S. in Nutrition & Dietetics, advanced training in gut and hormone health, and over two decades of experience helping women feel better in their bodies. But even with all of that knowledge and background—nothing prepared me for the shift that happened when I hit my 40s.
I started experiencing symptoms I couldn’t explain. I wasn’t eating differently. I hadn’t changed my routine. But something in my body had changed. Suddenly, meals that once “worked” left me bloated. My energy was gone by 3 p.m. My mood, digestion, and weight felt completely out of sync. And the advice out there? Confusing, outdated, and dismissive.
I realized what so many of us discover the hard way:
Midlife is a whole new chapter—and no one ever taught us how to eat for it.
So I did what I do best—I got curious. I leaned on my clinical background, dove deep into the functional side of midlife health, and started testing strategies on myself and my clients. What worked wasn’t another diet or more rules—it was learning how to listen to my body and feed it for the phase I was in now. That’s why I created Nourish & Flow—to offer women the compassionate, customized support I wish I had when I first felt like a stranger in my own body.
Here, I help midlife women:
Rebuild their meals to support digestion, hormones, and energy
Let go of food guilt and confusing rules
Feel confident in what to eat again—without dieting or depriving themselves.
You’re not broken. You don’t need to shrink.
You just need a new roadmap for this powerful, evolving season.
And I’m honored to walk it with you.

"I was terrified to eat carbs, dairy, or anything after 6 p.m. Now, I’m confident in my choices and no longer obsess over every ingredient. I finally enjoy meals again."
"Nutrition advice was overwhelming and contradictory. Miriam gave me a simple framework tailored to my midlife body, and now I finally feel like I know what my body needs."
"Skipping breakfast was my norm—but I didn’t realize how much it was draining me. Now, I have an easy, gut-friendly breakfast that fuels me and stabilizes my mood all day."

Stop fighting your symptoms and start feeding your body what it actually needs in this phase of life.
